Thick foil cake drums are the most popular type of cake board on the market. They are versatile and very strong which makes them perfect for single or multi tiered cakes. Coming in sizes from 7 inches ( up to 14 inches, they are all 0.5 inches (12mm) thick and are made from a solid heavyweight board and high quality foil. Cake drums are perfect for all types of cake and they are easy to cover using fondant icing and ribbon if desired.

Cake cards are great alternative to thick cake drums, ideal for light sponge cakes and in between stacked cake tiers. Cake cards range in thickness from 1.1mm and 3mm thick and are available in A variety of sizes and shapes.
