Description
Atlas Shawl by Wool Intentions
Skill level: Easy to Intermediate
Basic crochet stitches + the puff stitch (which you will master quickly)!
Started at the center top, each row increases on both sides to create a geometric, half-moon shape.
Finished Dimensions: 70 x 30″ (before blocking, approximately)
This shawl was designed to go everywhere. As the design began taking shape I was reminded so much of a moth’s wings, hence the name Atlas (after the Atlas Moth). But the word Atlas also applies as it is a go-anywhere, wear-anywhere kind of piece. Over cold shoulders during warmer months, or as a scarf in fall and winter.
Recommended yarn: DK or light worsted weight plied yarn like Malabrigo Rios
