Knitting 102 w/Liz – Knitting in the Round

 

Build your knitting skills in this class to practice Knitting in the Round.  You will create a knit beanie and a simple cowl scarf.  The patterns are included with the class!  Liz used Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok worsted weight yarn for her hat, and Misti Alpaca Hand Painted Chunky in the color Cinderella for the cowl.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Required Prerequisite: Knitting 101

Supplies: must be purchased separately.  Students receive a 15% discount on all supplies purchased at Sew to Speak!  Just mention to the sales associate that you are buying for a class.

  • Hat: we suggest 1 skein Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted 50g (or similar weight)
  • Cowl: we suggest 1 skein Misti Alpaca Hand Painted Chunky (or similar weight)
  • 3 sets of needles:  US 7 16″ circular needles (hat)
                                  US 7 double point needles (hat)
                                  US 11 16″ circular needles (cowl)
