Pinafore Dress

The pinafore sewing pattern is a perfect look for special occasions or any day your little one just wants to feel fancy. The large ruffles and gathering skirt make it fun to wear. 

Sized for kids in 1-6. See the size chart for measurements.

 – intermediate

Materials needed:
 – 1 to 1 1/2 yards fabric – mid-weight woven fabric such as organic cotton, tencel, linen, quilting cotton or a mid to light weight denim
 – 2 buttons – 1/2 inch size
 – 2 squares of interfacing 1 by 1 inch
 – thread to match your fabric
– 8-11 inches braided elastic 1/2 or 3/4 inch width
